12 member team for first super League match against HKCC
at HKCC have been announced today by Mr. Tony Turner (Chairman
ICCA), Tabarak Dar appointed captain for this years super
League, team have been picked from strong 15 man squad submitted
by the three sunday League clubs, see below the 15 man squad
& team for first match.

ICCA Annual Awards Dinner 2004-2005
Proposal
ICCA will host Annual Awards Dinner end of
each cricket season, first awards dinner will be hosted
for season 2004-2005.
Competition & Points System
All (HKCA) Sunday & Saturday League Matches
among Independents will count towards the ICCA Champions
Trophy, and individual awards will be given to best performers.
The details of the proposed awards are given below:

Champions Trophy Sunday League (Normal Sunday League Points
System)

Saturday League (Normal Saturday League Points System)
o ICCA Batsman of the
Year Sunday League (Highest Points Taker will be the winner)
[1 run scored, 1point, 50 or
more, 10 bonus points, scored 100 or more, 20 bonus points]
o ICCA Bowler of the
Year Sunday League (Highest Points Taker will be the winner)
[1 wicket, 20 points, 4wickets
10 bonus points, 5 or more 20 bonus points]
o ICCA Batsman of the
Year Saturday League (Highest Points Taker will be the winner)
[1 run scored, 1point, 50 or
more, 10points bonus, scored 100 or more, 20 bonus points]
o ICCA Bowler of the
Year Saturday League (Highest Points Taker will be the winner)
[1wicket, 20 points, 4wickets
10 bonus points, 5 or more 20 bonus points]
o ICCA Player of the
Year Sunday League & Saturday League (Highest Points

Same system can be applied for awards for
under age groups those participate in HKCA junior Leagues.

Only ICCA paid members can participate in
this competition
ICCA Annual Membership Fee
HK$1000 Sunday League Teams & HK$500 for
Saturday League Teams
ICCA Website
Results, news, fixtures, events, all information
will be available on the ICCA’s website. The information
will be updated weekly. Each member club will be given with
an email address for communication use. All member clubs
will be listed on the website with the details. Website
will play an important role in keeping members up to date
about ICCA news, events, meetings etc.
Purpose
The main purpose to hold such an event
is to raise funds for the ICCA and make it more professional
body and eventually to serve the member clubs. With the
proposed ICCA awards dinner and competition among ICCA clubs
will bring more interest and development in the game. More
clubs would be willing to join ICCA and a well organized
cricketing body could emerge which would work for the benefit
of the independent cricket clubs in Hong Kong.
